Each device works from its local IndexedDB database. Optional Cloud Sync sends and receives supported record changes while online; disconnected devices keep local changes queued until they reconnect. Successful synchronization, not shared browser storage, makes records visible on another device.
Are held carts backed up or synced?
No. Held carts are device-local working state. They reserve no stock, are not backed up or synced, and are rebuilt against current catalog price and availability when recalled.
